A Speech Language pathologist (SLP) administers speech therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Supervisor or Manager, Speech therapy services are furnished only by or under the supervision of a qualified speech pathologist.

What We’re Looking For
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology, and is licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist by the state where they furnish services, -or- Successfully completed 350 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum (or be in the process of completing), at least nine months of supervised full-time SLP experience, and has successfully completed a national examination approved by the Secretary.
- Currently licensed in the state of Connecticut.
- Minimum of three (3) years in clinical experience in speech pathology.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Must have CPR certification.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide quality services by assessing patient/family system needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with departmental and medical center policies.
- Perform a bio-psychological assessment interview with a patient, family, or significant other according to department policy and standards.
- Provide appropriate crisis intervention/treatment to adults, children, and families in emergency situations including assessment, counseling, information/referral, and providing consultation to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Participate in the development of the Plan of Care and prepare clinical and progress notes.
- Submit assessments and notes timely.
- Provide a professional interpretation of a patient's condition and recommend appropriate psycho-social intervention and/or treatment plan.
What You Can Expect

- Interview: Successful candidates from the phone screening will be invited to a virtual or in-person interview with the hiring manager. This typically takes place within 3-4 business days weeks of the application date.
- Final Decision & Orientation: We aim to make a final decision and start orientation within 2 business days of the interview.
- Feedback: All candidates who reach the interview stage will receive feedback on their application status.
Compensation: $65.00 - $95.00 per hour
