As a member of our team, you'll play a key role in providing quality home healthcare, where patients are able to remain independent in their place of residence in the healthiest and happiest state of being possible.
A Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA provides physical therapy services to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. Services are provided under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with physician orders, the established plan of care, and applicable state and federal regulations.

What you'll be doing:
- Provide physical therapy treatments as delegated by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and other interventions outlined in the plan of care.
- Observe, document, and report patient responses and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Participate with all other home healthcare personnel in patient care planning and interdisciplinary communication.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and Medicare guidelines.
What we're looking for:
- A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state in which practicing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Two (2) years of experience preferred in a home health setting.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with Medicare home health documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
